The Professorial Lecture, “My Story of Tribology,” marked an important milestone in my academic journey, bringing together years of teaching, research, discovery and scholarly engagement in the field of tribology.

Presented on 22 December 2020 at the Banquet Hall, Hotel UiTM, UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, during my tenure as Rector of UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, the lecture was more than an academic presentation on friction, wear and lubrication.

It was a reflection on the journey behind the knowledge—the experiences, research questions, collaborations, students and opportunities that shaped my development as a tribologist, researcher and academic.
