Overview

My professional journey has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to learning, purposeful leadership, and service to humanity. Every opportunity entrusted to me has been an invitation to grow, to serve, and to contribute meaningfully to the institutions and communities I have been privileged to be part of.

From my early years as an academic to leadership appointments as Dean, Rector, and Assistant Vice Chancellor, I have been blessed to work alongside visionary leaders, dedicated colleagues and staff, talented students, and valued collaborators from academia, industry, government, and the wider community. Together, we have transformed ideas into initiatives, challenges into opportunities, and aspirations into sustainable outcomes.

This journey is presented through three interconnected dimensions that reflect my professional life and contributions:

A Reflection of Gratitude

Every journey is shaped not only by the paths we choose but also by the people whom Allah places along the way. Looking back, my heart is filled with gratitude.

Above all, I am grateful to Allah SWT, whose infinite mercy, guidance, and blessings have sustained me through every opportunity, challenge, and achievement. Every success is an amanah, and every accomplishment is possible only through His will.

I am deeply indebted to my parents and family, whose unwavering love, sacrifices, prayers, and encouragement have been the foundation of my journey. Their values have shaped the person I strive to become.

I remain forever thankful to my teachers and mentors, whose wisdom, guidance, and example nurtured my growth as a learner, educator, researcher, and leader. Their influence continues to inspire me to pursue excellence with humility.

My sincere appreciation goes to the leaders who entrusted me with opportunities to serve. Their confidence in my abilities opened doors to meaningful responsibilities and enabled me to contribute to the growth and transformation of the institutions I have been privileged to serve.

My heartfelt gratitude also extends to my colleagues, staff, students, collaborators, industry partners, government agencies, professional bodies, and friends. Every initiative, every achievement, and every milestone has been the result of shared vision, collective effort, and mutual trust. Together, we have learned, served, innovated, and grown.

As I reflect on this journey, I am reminded that no achievement is ever the work of one individual. Every milestone has been shaped by the prayers of my parents, the guidance of my teachers, the trust of my leaders, the dedication of colleagues and staff, the enthusiasm of students, and the friendship of collaborators and partners. Above all, every opportunity has been a blessing from Allah SWT.
